Alcaraz stages epic comeback to beat Sinner, reaches second straight Roland Garros final

– In a thrilling men's singles semifinal at the French Open, third‑seed Carlos Alcaraz of Spain staged a sensational comeback from two sets down to defeat second‑seed Jannik Sinner 3-6, 4-6, 6-3, 6-4, 6-3 on Court Philippe‑Chatrier, advancing to his second consecutive final at Roland Garros.
Sinner came out firing, taking the first two sets with pinpoint baseline accuracy. From the third set onward, Alcaraz raised his first‑serve percentage and approached the net more frequently, gradually turning the tide. A crucial break in the fifth game of the deciding set proved decisive, and Alcaraz sealed the victory after four hours and 12 minutes.
Alcaraz will face fourth‑seed Alexander Zverev in the final, who swept past Casper Ruud in straight sets in the other semifinal.
