🎉BIG REVEAL! Pokémon GO Gigantamax: Everything You Need to Know!🎉

💥Gigantamax is finally making its way to Pokémon GO! This exciting feature, a follow-up to the debut of Dynamax, was just unveiled in an epic cinematic trainer moment. Check it out below.

✨We already had some clues about how Gigantamax would work thanks to data mining. Over the past few months, countless G-Max Moves have been added to the game, discovered at the same time as the Max Moves that debuted earlier this season.

📌Here's everything we learned today about Gigantamax in Pokémon GO.

🕙When does Gigantamax debut in Pokémon GO?

Gigantamax will make its grand entrance in Pokémon GO during a special weekend-long event starting at 10 am on October 26 and finishing at 8 pm on October 27.

During this event, you'll find Gigantamax Pokémon available for intense 6 Star Max Battles. These battles will cost 600 Max Particles and have a Trainer Limit of 40! So, they'll be extremely tough to take down. Gather your friends!

🐱‍🏍Which Pokémon can Gigantamax in Pokémon GO?

Just like with Dynamax, only certain Pokémon will be able to Gigantamax. And these will only be the Pokémon caught through special Max Battles.

Initially, only three Pokémon will be able to Gigantamax in Pokémon GO: Charizard, Venusaur, and Blastoise. Expect more Pokémon to join this lineup in the coming months.

⚔️How will Gigantamax Max Battles work?

They'll be very similar to Dynamax Max Battles. They'll be featured at Power Spots, require Max Particles to enter, and you can leave a Pokémon behind to help future Trainers.

Some differences include the number of Trainers that can battle (40 instead of 5) and that these Raids will only spawn during special events.

💥What are G-Max Moves in Pokémon GO?

When a Pokémon is Gigantamaxed, their first Max Move is a powerful G-Max Move. Each species of Pokémon capable of Gigantamaxing has a unique G-Max Move, which may not be the same type as its Fast Attack. We're getting the debut of G-Max Vine Lash, G-Max Wildfire, and G-Max Cannonade with this event.
