In Path of Exile 2, jewels play a crucial role in creating a well - rounded build. Among them, unique jewels are some of the most coveted and valuable drops in the entire game. Almost every unique jewel in the game can only be acquired by vanquishing a pinnacle endgame boss at the highest achievable difficulty level. Even after a successful boss defeat, their drop is far from guaranteed.
Securing unique jewels is always a cause for celebration. Even if a player's current build doesn't have a use for them, they can be listed for sale on the official trade site, potentially bringing in a significant amount of Divine Orbs. Naturally, obtaining these powerful items demands patience, dedicated effort, and a fair bit of luck.

How to Reach Difficulty 4 Pinnacle Boss Fights in PoE 2

Many of the unique jewels in PoE 2 require players to defeat bosses at Difficulty 4, the highest tier of difficulty. The process to reach this level is as follows:
1. Defeat the boss at its base difficulty. This will earn you +2 Atlas Points for that particular section of the Atlas (Breach, Expedition/Delirium/Ritual/Arbiter).
2. Allocate these points to unlock +1 to Boss Difficulty.
3. Defeat the boss at the new +1 Difficulty level. This will again earn you +2 Atlas points.
4. Allocate these new points to further increase the Boss Difficulty by +1.
5. Repeat these steps until you unlock Difficulty 4.
It's important to note that The Trialmaster and Zarokh, the Temporal each have a single difficulty level. However, Zarokh’s effective difficulty can be increased indirectly through the use of unique relics.
