Honkai Star Rail has made a splash by officially revealing the 5-star version of Herta via their drip marketing strategy! "The Herta" is set to grace our screens and be playable in an upcoming HSR update.

5-Star The Herta Drip Marketing: A Closer Look

You may already be aware that the Herta we've interacted with and seen in the Space Station have all been puppets. "The Herta," also known as Herta Prime or Madame Herta, is the real deal of the Genius Society member. As a playable character, The Herta is a 5-star Ice Erudition unit, not too dissimilar from her 4-star Ice Erudition "Herta" counterpart.

The drip marketing by Honkai Star Rail doesn't offer much new, except for how she came to identify her "true self" as The Herta. She even expressed her distaste for "Herta Prime," deeming it rather ordinary.

Interestingly, in the Japanese version of the reveal, she refers to herself as "Madame Herta."

The post also hints at a significant story development on the horizon. "Her appearance this time... must be to handle an issue that demands her personal attention, right?" The situation must be of utmost importance, considering even the appearance of the Doomsday Beast on the Herta Space Station didn't prompt her real body to show up.

The Herta's Voice Actors: Who Brings Her to Life?

The Herta is anticipated to carry on the voice acting legacy of her puppet version.

For the English voiceover, PJ Mattson lends her voice. With previous iconic roles like Sylvanas Windrunner from the Warcraft series, Baiken from Guilty Gear: Strive, and Cheer Bear from Care Bears, she's sure to give The Herta a unique charm.

In the Japanese voiceover, Haruka Yamazaki takes the reins. Her past remarkable roles include Kati Raikkonen from Akiba's Trip, Mero from Monster Musume, and Mirai Kasuga from The Idolm@ster franchise.
