The Haas F1 Team has unveiled its 2026 Formula 1 livery, becoming the third team to show its colours ahead of the sport’s sweeping new regulations — and the first to do so under its new identity as TGR Haas F1 Team.

The reveal confirms a strengthened partnership with Toyota Gazoo Racing, which steps up from technical partner to title sponsor for the upcoming season.
Toyota’s Growing Presence on the VF-26

Toyota branding now features prominently across the car, including the engine cover, front wing, and halo, underlining the deepening relationship between the American team and the Japanese manufacturer.
While Haas and Toyota first entered a technical partnership at the end of 2024, the 2026 season represents a major escalation — both visually and strategically — as Formula 1 enters a clean-sheet era.
The new livery leans heavily into white and red, replacing much of last year’s black. The colour shift reflects Toyota’s corporate identity while still maintaining Haas’ minimalist design philosophy.
Continuity on Track, Change Behind the Scenes
Haas enters 2026 with driver continuity, retaining Esteban Ocon and Oliver Bearman following the team’s strongest season since 2018.
The duo helped Haas finish eighth in the constructors’ championship in 2025 with 79 points, giving the team stability as it navigates one of the most disruptive regulation changes in F1 history.
Team owner Gene Haas highlighted the challenge of balancing present performance with future development.
“Like all teams, we’ve faced the challenge of competing in 2025 while designing and now building these new-regulation entries for 2026. The pre-season will be crucial to understand what these cars are capable of.”
First Technical Clues Emerge
Although the launch focused primarily on livery, the images released also offered subtle hints about Haas’ technical direction.
The VF-26 appears to feature:
- Pushrod front suspension
- Pushrod rear suspension
- Wide front-wing winglets, suggesting a particular aero philosophy under the new rules
As with all early-season launches, teams remain guarded — but even these small details have already sparked discussion in the paddock.
A Low-Key Launch by Design
Unlike Red Bull and Racing Bulls, which hosted a large-scale event in Detroit, Haas opted for a simple online reveal, keeping the focus firmly on the car and its new identity.
Team principal Ayao Komatsu admitted the timing felt unusual — but no less exciting.
“It feels almost surreal to be unveiling a new car this early, but it’s not any less exciting venturing into a new F1 campaign — especially one with such a change in regulations.”
Haas is now fully focused on Barcelona shakedown week, followed by extended testing in Spain and Bahrain before the season opener in Australia.

What This Means for Haas
With Toyota now fully embedded as title sponsor, Haas enters 2026 with greater technical backing, stronger branding, and rare stability — three ingredients the team has often lacked simultaneously.
Whether that translates into consistent midfield progress remains to be seen, but one thing is clear: TGR Haas F1 Team is no longer a short-term project. It’s a long-game commitment — and 2026 is where that story truly begins.
