However, after the passing of the Adeptus they served, these once - noble beasts underwent a transformation and became aggressive. For Travelers in Genshin Impact, slaying these Xuanwen Beasts can be a rewarding endeavor. Defeating them yields valuable items such as Feathery Fins, Lunar Fins, and Chasmlight Fins, which serve as essential enhancement materials in the game. Notably, if players aim to use the weapon Crane's Echoing Call, especially when paired with Xianyun, farming these beasts becomes a must.
Xuanwen Beast Locations In Genshin Impact
There are a total of 33 Xuanwen Beasts scattered across Genshin Impact's landscape, and Travelers can discover them in the following areas:
Mt. Xuanlian
At Mt. Xuanlian, players can spot four Xuanwen Beasts. Three of these beasts are located on the southeastern island relative to the southwestern Waypoint of Mt. Xuanlian, while one can be found northeast of the mountain.
Chizhang Wall
Chizhang Wall is home to a significant number of Xuanwen Beasts - a total of 22. Here's where you can find them:
- Seven are positioned southeast of the southern Waypoint of Chizhang Wall.
- Three are located south of the Statue of the Seven in Chizhang Wall.
- Four Xuanwen Beasts are north of the Chizhang Wall Statue of the Seven. Defeating them will grant players an Exquisite chest.
- Two can be found south of the northern Waypoint of Chizhang Wall.
- Two are near a Jade Incense Cauldron puzzle north of the central Waypoint of Chizhang Wall.
- One Xuanwen Beast is attempting to attack the Hilichurl Camp east of the eastern Waypoint of Chizhang Wall. Eliminating all the enemies at the camp will reward Travelers with a Precious chest in Genshin Impact.
- Three are inside Huangcong Grounds, beneath Chizhang Wall. Defeating these beasts will result in an Exquisite chest for the players.
Yaodie Valley
In Yaodie Valley, Travelers will only encounter one Xuanwen Beast. It is located on the mountain east of the Yaodie Valley Waypoint. After defeating it, a Pyro Whooperflower will spawn in Genshin Impact. Defeating the Pyro Whooperflower will reward a Common chest.
Mt. Lingmeng
Northeast of the southern Waypoint of Mt. Lingmeng, Travelers can find two Xuanwen beasts.
Chiwang Terrace
At Chiwang Terrace, four Xuanwen Beasts can be discovered. Two are south of the eastern Waypoint of Chiwang Terrace, and two are located on the northern mountain of Chiwang Terrace.
Xuanwen Beast Drops In Genshin Impact
