Genshin Impact: The TCG Cards Are Coming to Life - A Must-Know Update!

Genshin Impact is set to release the physical version of their in-game TCG cards, and it's available for pre-sale exclusively in China for now.

The Genius Invokation trading card game (TCG) was introduced in version 3.3, allowing players to battle with NPCs and other characters. Now, you can own and collect those very cards you've seen in the game. New collectible card boxes were revealed to fans on Chinese social media platforms Bilibili and Weibo.

The pre-sale of the physical cards kicks off on Nov. 8 in China. While there's no word on a global release yet, we're keeping our fingers crossed for an announcement soon.

The starter deck with 40 cards is priced at 40 yuan (about $6). The booster pack containing 108 cards costs 180 yuan (around $25). And the most elaborate option has 18 packs per box, with six cards in each pack. You'll be able to collect character, action, and accessory cards.

Genshin FES 2024

The Genshin FES 2024 event in Shanghai in July showcased many physical TCG cards in celebration of the Natlan region's launch. Content creators like tuonto shared promotional images of cards like Lisa, Xiangling, and other support cards. There were also TCG dice, but it's unclear if they'll be collectible.

The Genshin Impact TCG product was confirmed by Shining Soul on their bilibili official page. There are special editions in the TCG game mode, but the initial launch will likely focus on normal cards. In the images shared by Shining Soul, we can see decks personalized with characters and their elements such as Diluc, Keqing, Ganyu, Ayaka, Collei, Noelle, Chongyun, and Xiangling.
