Genshin Impact: Kinich best teams (Burning & Burgeon explained)

To use Kinich effectively you need to make Burgeon and Burning teams around him that will suit him the best.

To utilize Kinich more effectively in Genshin Impact, it is essential to pair him with the appropriate characters, enabling him to shine in diverse teams. There are several team combinations you can explore. In these setups, Kinich can assume the role of either a DPS or a Sub-DPS by triggering certain Dendro reactions.

Kinich's kit primarily centers around his elemental skill as a source of damage. Additionally, you would need to accumulate some Nightsoul points to use the Spikescaler Cannon. Thus, you require characters that can further contribute to making the most of his passive talents.

Burning Playstyle:

In this team composition, Kinich will serve as the main DPS, dealing massive damage with his Spikescaler Cannon (Genshin Impact Kinich Build). You will rely on generating Nightsoul points by triggering burning reactions to use it repetitively.

Some off-field Pyro applicators, such as Dehya, will also prove highly beneficial in inflicting burning on opponents while they are affected by Dendro. Given her tanking capabilities, Dehya is a superior option to use here. However, if you are a free-to-play player, Xiangling can also be utilized.

Bennett is an outstanding support character who can provide you with a substantial attack buff, making your Kinich even stronger. Emilie's elemental skill damage is increased when burning damage is used, so she can act as an excellent sub-DPS in Kinich's burning teams in Genshin Impact.

Thoma

Burgeon Playstyle:
Similar to the burning playstyle, Kinich can generate Nightsoul points when burgeon is triggered. Thus, building a burgeon team for Kinich is also an excellent choice. This team is slightly more intricate than the burning one as you need to combine several elements with Kinich's Dendro attacks.

You require a constant off-field Hydro applicator. We recommend using Furina here considering her damage potential. Alternatively, you can also opt for Kokomi and Xinqui.

Once you have generated those Dendro cores through Hydro and Dendro reactions, you can use Thoma's Pyro attacks to trigger burgeon. Thoma is a shielder and can also apply Pyro off-field, making him the most suitable Pyro character for Kinich's burgeon team.
