Genshin Impact: Enhanced Elemental Reactions and Upgraded Imaginarium Theater
Genshin Impact is finally enhancing Elemental Reactions!
The latest Developers Discussion from the official Genshin Impact accounts has disclosed what's in store for the future. There will be more quality - of - life updates, and most significantly, the damage from Elemental Reactions will be boosted in an upcoming Genshin Impact update.
Elemental Reaction Buffs
The damage of Overloaded (Pyro + Electro), Superconduct (Cryo + Electro), Electro - Charged (Hydro + Electro), and Shatter (Hydro + Cryo + Geo/Blunt attack) will be increased. According to the Developers Discussion, this adjustment aims to "enable a broader range of characters and lineups to stand out."
The boost to Elemental Reaction damage will be available in Genshin Impact version 5.2, which is slated for November 20, 2024.
Other Improvements in Genshin 5.2
The Developers Discussion covers improvements to the Treasure Compass, Artifacts, and other aspects of the game.
Treasure Compass
The Treasure Compass can now locate more chests, including those from Time Trials and Seelies. An option for "Quick Swap" between the Treasure Compass and Oculus Resonance Stone will be added to match the region you're in.
Artifacts
The Lock Plan is being introduced, providing you with great freedom to instruct the game which Artifacts to lock and which not to. There are preset General Lock Plan and Set Lock Plan, but you can also set your own parameters.
There will also be an "Artifact Astral Mark," which essentially allows you to mark a piece as a favorite. This will automatically lock the piece and display it at the top of your inventory.
Additionally, a toggle to display 5 - star Artifacts in the order of acquisition will be added.
Weapons
When choosing weapons on the Forging, Shop, and Battle Pass pages, the information about which weapons you have, their levels, and refinement rank will now be shown.
Serenitea Pot
All previously obtained wood can now be purchased from the Realm Debot in the Serenitea Pot. The cooldown of the Boon of the Elder Tree gadget is being reduced from 15 seconds to 5 seconds.
Imaginarium Theater
The Blessing Level buffs of Special Guest Stars will now be increased by 100%.
The Performance Prep page is also undergoing changes to assist players in making better decisions.
All of these optimizations are expected in Genshin Impact version 5.2, scheduled for November 20, 2024.
