PARIS – In the early hours of April 29 (Beijing time), the first leg of the 2025-26 UEFA Champions League semi-final produced a nine-goal thriller as Paris Saint-Germain hung on to beat Bayern Munich 5-4 at the Parc des Princes. The victory ended PSG’s five-match winless run against Bayern in European competition and gave them a narrow advantage heading into the second leg.
Bayern took an early lead through a Harry Kane penalty, but PSG responded in devastating fashion. Ousmane Dembélé scored twice and added an assist, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia also netted a brace, and João Neves got on the scoresheet. PSG stormed to a 5-2 lead.
