Bitcoin Volatility Drops as Market Matures
According to Vetle Lunde from K33 Research:
- BTC’s weekly volatility dropped to its lowest point since October 2022.
- Bitcoin’s market cap now stands at $1.87 trillion, ranking it as the 7th largest asset globally, above Silver, Meta, and Saudi Aramco.
“Reduced volatility reflects maturity and reduced speculative churn,” said Lunde.

Speaking at Token2049 in Dubai, Arthur Hayes said:
“It’s time to go long everything… Bitcoin is going to $1 million by 2028.”
His reasoning includes:

- Rising demand for Bitcoin as a hedge against inflation
- Institutional inflows via ETFs and treasury buybacks
“This might be the last chance to buy BTC under $100K,” Hayes added.

Cathie Wood, CEO of ARK Invest, also projects Bitcoin to:
- Surpass $1.5 million by 2030
- Achieve 58% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) through the next five years
