🔥Arcane Champions Guide in League of Leges: Heimerdinger🔥

Hey, newbies in League of Legends! Here's the ultimate guide you've been waiting for to rock it with Heimerdinger: from his badass abilities to killer builds and more!

🎩"The Revered Inventor" - Heimerdinger, a legendary figure in Piltover. Former head of Council, brilliant scientist, and inspiring professor. He's the one who paved the way for young talents like Viktor and Jayce in Arcane. But who is he really in League of Legends? Well, he's still that mad scientist obsessed with building and operating his crazy machines. Let's dig in and learn all about playing this champ!

💪Heimerdinger Roles

In the wild world of League of Legends, Heimerdinger is a mage and support tagged as a "hard difficulty" champ by Riot. He usually hangs out in the top-lane, mid-lane, or support lane. Now, I gotta say, I'm not entirely on board with that "hard" label. All you gotta do is center your gameplay around those turrets. There ain't a whole bunch of super complex mechanics here. Yeah, when it comes to nailing those "skilled shots" on enemies, it can be a bit tricky, but trust me, there are champs out there with way more mind-boggling mechanics.

Heimerdinger is a godsend for you guys who are still getting the hang of farming (that's killing minions to stack up gold). Those turrets will have your back and make farming a breeze. And as for mastering the timings of each ultimate? That just comes with playing the champ and leveling up your macro gaming skills. "Macro gaming", for those who don't know, is all about making the smartest play, no matter where on the map, based on the current situation.

🌟Heimerdinger Abilities

This guy is special. He's got three different versions of his ultimate, which means you can mix and match it with one of his other abilities and create a one-of-a-kind ultimate. Each combo has its own unique mojo. But don't worry, we'll break it all down later in this epic guide.

Passive - "Hextech Affinity"

Heimer's passive is as straightforward as it gets. When you're chilling near your team's towers or your own turrets (either the Q or the ultimate + Q), you get a sweet 20% speed boost. That's right, you'll be zipping around the map like a boss.

Q - "H-28 G Evolution Turret"
The Q ability is where the fun begins. Heimer plants a turret at a specific spot, and it'll stay put until it gets wrecked. He can stock up to 3 Turret Kit charges (as long as he has the stock available). These bad boys will rain down fire on nearby minions, champs, or even enemy towers.

W - "Hextech Micro-Rockets"
Hit that W button, and Heimerdinger unleashes a barrage of five rockets. They all converge on the target location and then spread out to the max range. Each rocket dishes out magic damage to the first enemy it smacks. And here's the kicker - if you've got turrets on the ground and you nail your W, those turrets will deal a whopping 20% more damage within a 1000 range. If you manage to hit every single rocket on an enemy champ, that damage boost can skyrocket up to 100%! Rockets deal 20% damage to champs and 40% to minions.

E - "CH-2 Electron Storm Granade"
The E ability is all about crowd control. Heimer chucks a grenade at the target. It detonates on impact, dealing magic damage to nearby enemies and slowing them down by 35% for two seconds. Just like the W, if you nail an enemy close to your turrets, all of them will unload damage within a 1000 range. And if an enemy is right in the center of the grenade explosion, they'll be stunned for 1.5 seconds.

Ultimates (various names)
If you go for the ultimate + Q, you'll summon a bigger, badder turret that lasts for eight seconds and has a beefier range (350 to 450). This is perfect for when you're in the thick of a fight and need to dish out damage while staying protected. Enemies will have a tough time taking this mega turret down.

For the ultimate + W, Heimer fires off four waves of five rockets in rapid succession, dealing major magic damage. Enemies and monsters take reduced damage from rockets after the first and even less after the fifth. Minions, on the other hand, soak up 100% damage from every rocket. This is your go-to for 1v1 battles when you want to obliterate your opponent. Picture this: your jungler swoops in and stuns the enemy. You then activate your ultimate and W and watch the damage numbers fly.

Finally, the ultimate + E has Heimer chucking a massive grenade at a target location. It bounces three times over a fixed distance. Enemies caught in it can only be damaged once per cast, but they can get slowed and stunned multiple times if the stars align. Ideal for slowing down or stunning enemies, giving your teammates the perfect opening to rush in and finish them off.

🛠️Heimerdinger Builds

Remember this golden rule in League of Legends: builds ain't set in stone. You gotta tweak them to fit the needs of your game, the enemies you're facing, and your role. But for every patch and champ, there's a sorta "default" build. For patch 14.22, here's Heimerdinger's "default" build, courtesy of U.GG.

Heimerdinger Build: Top
On the top lane, Heimer is an A-tier champ with a 51.08% win rate, 0.8% pick rate, and 0.6% ban rate in 8,723 matches.
Usually, flash and teleport are the way to go for summoner spells. But some players like to roll with ignite, depending on their playstyle. And here's a look at the rune setup.

Heimerdinger Build: Mid
Down in the mid-lane, things change a bit. The win rate bumps up to 53.62%, but the sample size is smaller at 3,700 matches. Heimer has a 0.3% pick rate and a 0.6% ban rate. In mid, he usually rocks ignite instead of teleport.

Heimerdinger Build: Support
And once again, the bot lane support role brings some differences. You can choose between exhaust or ignite (exhaust has a better win rate). Heimer drops to a B tier in the bot lane. With a 48.26% win rate in a relatively small sample of 3,160 matches, he has a 0.3% pick rate and a 0.6% ban rate.

👊Heimerdinger's Tougher Matchups

Keep in mind that the sample size varies depending on who Heimerdinger is up against. In the top lane, based on lost matches, Yone, Kayle, and Yasuo give him a run for his money. In mid, Vladimir, Qiyana, and Jayce are the ones that usually make Heimerdinger sweat. And when playing support, Xerath, Vel'Koz, and Soraka are the tough cookies he has to deal with.

🎨Heimerdinger Skins

Let's be real, who doesn't love rocking a cool skin? Unless you're Faker. Here's the lowdown on every Heimerdinger skin out there.

💡Final Considerations

All in all, Heimerdinger is a rad champ for beginners. He helps you farm like a champ, stay safe in the lane, and still dish out some serious damage. And don't forget to check out our latest League of Legends guide for newbies!
